I would like to bring a serious matter to your immediate attention. This relates to the poor management and appalling behavioural conditions in the J1 Claims department. I have been witness to an unfortunate trend of personal abuse by a number of managers in this department. This has included victimization, personal abuse and ridiculing people. This is clearly a matter for investigation by the Senior Executive of the firm. The Managers in question work in consortium with Associates who seemingly offer little value to the firm by way of contribution or input to productivity of the firm.
This matter has been brought to your attention because of the large dissatisfaction of the majority of the workforce. It is already creating an atmosphere of contempt and lack of respect for the management structure. This is considered to be a deteriorating situation and unless it is addressed immediately may result in Trade Union action. It is considered that these behavioural patterns, as adopted by the Managers and Associates, contravene the code of ethics, policy and governance procedures expected in a normal working environment.
We recognise the sensitivity of this matter and should you require any further clarification or information we would be happy to meet and discuss the matter privately. We have an excellent progressive firm that is being spoilt by the personal conduct of certain Managers. We feel sure that this matter can be resolved in a satisfactory manner without the need for Trade Union intervention.
