At some stage many people have had an experience where after reading the novel they feel let down. You may find that they have spent a lot of time or sometimes they have spent even days, reading a certain novel with interesting characters and plot. They keep on turning pages where they don’t feel like stopping. But only to get a shock after they get to the last pages when they find the author has talked something different from the one they expect.

The author must find some opportunities to bring some surprise due to predictability even if the reader is aware of who will win at last. Add twisting, or putting challenges such as achieving the goal will make the reader to keep on reading in order to find out how the main character will go through all the obstacles.

When the reader finds the story ending going too long, it is as a result where the writer wants the characters to keep continuing in the novel. It’s good to leave the readers with a bittersweet where they feel regretting that the story already ended and the characters have been boring all along.

For those authors who are too tired of coming up with something good than this needs to go back to the story and write a new ending. However if ending of the novel is done well it will leave readers being happy and looking forward to reading the next book.

As an author what you write goes to many people either for approving or information in general. When you write to the audience those who are leaders should be the front one. After you have ranked and chosen the leaders, the most important readers should be given the information.
