In the contemporary world of fierce competition, providing good life for people is the inevitable goal of all companies, firms, institutions, and media. Due to out emotional happiness, all the spheres of the modern business become prosperous or end up bankrupts. Nonetheless, all the businesses try to get the idea of good and happy life from the majority, when, in fact, every single person has his/her own view on a good life. There are myriads of indicators that show that an individual has a good life, though sometimes people tend to lie to themselves and invent fake indicators to calm their emotions down.
Humanity always dreamed to know how to arrive at a good life in their society. However, there at all times have been only two answers. One can get a happy life spiritually or physically. Rarely does it happen that someone can combine these two. Today, a person has too many tools to become happy physically with various material things like money, cars, yachts, and other things that appear when you have lots of money. Those people are the ones who have good lives, though they are often not happy emotionally. Therefore, striving to monetary success and spiritual abundance should be a key to success.
I believe that this question has not evolved over the years. What have changed are the methods and the objects that one can purchase with physical ‘happiness’. With the invention of money, all people were trying to get as much of this good as possible doing legal and illegal operations. Today is exactly the same situation, not counting that the methods became more sophisticated and legal. Undoubtedly, not everyone has the ability to earn enough money for a ‘good’ life. Some people do not have a chance even to enter the competition, as far as they are not allowed to, or because other people do not let them. This is, of course, different from spiritual happiness, when everyone is equal and can get a ‘good’ life whenever he/she wants to.
Though people nowadays are used to such definitions of good life and happiness, I believe that it is not correct. What I mean is that people start to forget the true purpose of life and begin to think that being financially stable will bring happiness and joy to their lives, which is a fake happiness. Unfortunately, nothing can be done. Humanity is hypnotized by the media through the propaganda, which is covered of course, in advertisement, movies, and other products of the media. The process is irreversible and there is no way out of this vicious circle.
The measurement of the quality of life should be carefully balanced. Unquestionably, we have to work had to be able to provide for our families, but at the same time not to forget the spiritual values, which are much more complicated to get then money.
