Undoubtedly, sticking to the same way of life for a long period of time can lead to both degradation and boredom. People who “stare into a mirror” stop realizing the true greatness and abundance of life, as far as the do not move anywhere.  There life runs smoothly and nothing changes.  Thus when something does change, this is when you learn.  This happened to me once, and it changed my view of life forever.

Love is a strange thing.  It brings happiness and sadness, satisfaction and deep moral injuries.  Whatever it is, it certainly brings changes into your daily routine. I fell in love with a girl, and this was a turning point from which I changed myself.  I started to live for another person, always be with that person both physically and mentally.  I was concentrated not only on myself (as it usually happened before), but I began to sacrifice and give away things.  It is really true that there is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving.  I learned how to love, care, help, and be loved at the same time.  It felt bizarre in the beginning, but the more I immersed myself in another person’s feelings, emotions, and actions, the more I commenced to understand the true value of life.  I stopped looking at “the mirror” and experienced tough changes that I will never forget.

This is a type of experience that you can teach a person how to live a truly valuable life and do something good not only for yourself, but to someone you love and care about.  Even if the outcome is not what you wanted it to be, it is still a useful change that will bear fruit in future.
